About the artist: Born in Montreal in 1871, died in 1953 in Quebec. Member of the National Academy of Design, New York. President of the Salmagundi Club, New York City from 1936-1938, life member of the National Art Club, New York. Represented in the collection of the Art Association of Montreal, Corcoran Gallery, New York World's Fair in 1939, and many private and business collections.
